Adopt Me Trading Values
Every pet that matters in Adopt Me trading, ranked by what people actually pay for it. Five demand tiers, the Neon and Mega Neon math, and a WFL checker so you know before you hit accept.

How to read this list
Tier = demand, not rarity
Rarity is what the egg said. Tier is what traders pay. A 2019 Rare beats a 2024 Legendary every time.
Same tier = fair trade
S for S, A for A. Trading up a tier costs roughly two and a half of the lower tier, or one plus add-ons.
Neon ×4, Mega ×16
That is the crafting recipe. Values follow it loosely for wanted pets and not at all for filler.
Pet Value Tier List
Grails. Out of the game for years, wanted by everyone. Only another S-tier pet, or a stack of A-tiers with add-ons, is a fair offer.

Neon and Mega Neon values
A Neon pet is made at the Neon Cave by combining four full-grown copies of the same pet. A Mega Neon takes four Neons, so sixteen of the original pet. That recipe is the floor for the price: nobody crafts a Neon Frost Dragon to sell it for less than four Frost Dragons.
In practice the multiplier holds for anything B-tier and up and collapses for filler. A Neon Dog is worth a Neon Dog, not four Dogs, because nobody wants four Dogs. The calculator applies the full recipe multiplier, which is the honest way to compare, and you can mentally discount Neon filler.
Fly and Ride potions add a little on top: roughly ten percent each on a pet people want, nothing on a pet they don't. An FR Shadow Dragon is a real premium over a plain one. An FR Otter is an Otter.
Rarity is not value
The rarity label on a pet tells you the hatch odds of the egg it came from. It says nothing about supply today. Three examples that trip up new traders:
| Pet | Rarity tag | Trade tier | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blue Dog | Uncommon | S | Sold for one week in June 2019, never again. |
| Cow | Rare | B | Farm Egg 2019, same egg as the Owl, retired for six years. |
| Dragon | Legendary | C | Hatchable from the Royal Egg today, unlimited supply. |
The rule that explains almost the whole list: the year a pet left the game matters more than anything else. 2019 pets are the grails. 2020 pets are the strong legendaries. 2021 and later fill the middle. Anything still obtainable is an add-on.
How these values are decided
Adopt Me has no official values. What exists is a market: trades in the in-game Trading Hub, in the big trading Discords and on Traderie-style listing sites. Pets settle into price bands based on two things, how many exist and how many people want one. Our tiers track that consensus and we re-check it weekly.
We publish tiers instead of made-up numbers because the numbers are the part that lists disagree on, while the tier order is the part they all agree on. If you want to see the difference between a Frost Fury at 64 and a Frost Fury at 67, other sites will sell you that precision. If you want to know whether a trade is fair, the tier is enough.
FAQ
What is the most valuable pet in Adopt Me?
The Shadow Dragon, sold for 1,000 Robux during the 2019 Halloween event. The Frost Dragon and Bat Dragon sit right under it. All three have been unobtainable since 2019, which is why nothing newer has caught them.
Are Adopt Me values official?
No. Adopt Me has no official values and never shows a price in the trade window. Every value list, including this one, tracks what trades actually close at in trading servers and Discords. Lists disagree at the edges, but the tier order is stable.
How much is a Neon pet worth compared to a normal one?
A Neon takes four full-grown copies of the same pet to make and a Mega Neon takes four Neons, so sixteen normals. Values follow that recipe loosely: a Neon trades for roughly three to four normals of the same pet, a Mega for roughly three to four Neons. High-demand pets keep the full multiplier, filler pets lose most of it.
Does rarity decide the value?
No, age and demand do. The Cow is a Rare that trades above most legendaries because it left the game in 2019. The Dragon is a Legendary anyone can hatch today and trades as an add-on. Read the tier, not the rarity tag.
How often is this list updated?
We re-check the consensus every week and stamp the date at the top of every page. If a big update or a re-release shifts a pet, the tier moves the same week.
